Weekly Round Up: The Escape Edition

Heading into the weekend I thought it would be a good idea to point out some of the interesting events of the week. This week we've got some other escapees and a carnival!

Escapees

Over the past few months I've discovered that I'm not the only one around with an escape theme going on. There are at least four others that I've found and I thought you might be interested:

  • Mike over at The Great Office Escape has recently decided to go back to school to pursue a career he'll actually enjoy. Good luck Mike!
  • Sarah, the Rat Race Escape Artist has recently decided to leave the rat race all together confirming she's the artist she claims to be. Good luck Sarah!
  • Escape From The Cube plans to leave the cube for good as of October 24, 2008. She's already over two thirds of the way to her financial target for escaping.
  • Pamela at Escape From Cubicle Nation has all sorts of great advice for helping people escape from the confines of the corporate world. You should check it out.

Carnivals

This week I submitted my frugal tip for buying computers and computer games to the Carnival of Personal Finance that was hosted this week by Money Smart Life. There were lots of other great articles submitted and I recommend you go take a look. Thanks to Smart Money life for hosting this week.

Enjoy and have a great weekend!
