Friday Round Up: The Topics Edition

This week I finally managed to get some maintenance completed on the site - including following through on a promise I made back in December! There was also another great carnival this week where one of my articles became an MVP. Check it out!

Carnival

I've been trying to submit articles to blog carnivals a bit more regularly these day in an effort to attract new readers. So far it has been a big success. Thanks for all the support and welcome to all the new readers!

This past week the Carnival of Personal Finance was hosted by I’ve Paid For This Twice Already. I submitted my article on the merits of owning small homes and it was chosen as an MVP -- or, in other words, Editor's Choice with a Superbowl twist.

This week all the Editor's Choice articles are competing for the top spot in a reader's poll. If you've got a few minutes you can vote here. Voting ends tonight, so don't wait or you'll miss out! Oh, and please vote for whichever article you think should win - even if it isn't mine!

Site Maintenance

Last December I mentioned that I was planning to start categorizing my articles to help make it easier to find other articles that I've written on a particular topic of interest. On the left hand side of the site I've added a listing of all the topics so far. Clicking on a topic link will now take you to a listing of articles I've posted that deal with that topic. There are also similar new links at the end of each article. If you think I'm missing any topics or if you think something is categorized incorrectly, please let me know.

I've also tweaked the RSS feed for the site a bit, so if you have any troubles receiving updates via RSS, please let me know as well.

Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!
